Projects in Progress Berkhamsted Sixth Form Building

To continue our working relationship with Beard Oxford we were pleased to start the new sixth form building in Berkhamsted for Berkhamsted School, Castle Campus this will create a significant and valuable modern academic and pastoral space which will also serve to release other similar spaces within the Senior School. On the ground floor, a social learning café provides a vibrant space on arrival and opens onto a new landscaped quadrant. An open-plan study space for private and individual classrooms is arranged on an opposing wing. The electrical installation will start from the initial incoming supplies to the final feature light fittings, with all state-of-the-art technologies expected in such a new build.

Completed Fredericks Place

Fredericks Place was completed in early 2024, as an Urban Design and Build project for contractors Knight Harwood our project was a full electrical installation of a modern reception area, Retail units, and CAT A Fit out on the 5 floors. This brand-new, fully electric development is designed to offer modern and sustainable offices with on-trend end-of-journey amenities. The fourth and fifth floors will offer superb private terraces.

We have now moved over to Building 4b which was a M&E installation for more retail units with domestic accommodation above. The existing 18th-century building had to be converted and updated to a modern and light area, with a new mechanical air conditioning and ventilation system, new kitchens and bathrooms, service pipework, and all the relevant electrical services and lighting.

Solar Panel Installations

The Solar Panel Team have been hard at work completing many new PV installations, helping the clients to achieve maximum resources to reduce utility bills, and supplying a comprehensive quote that explains in usable terms the final benefits that a new install will achieve. The installations are quick and efficient causing as little disturbance to the homeowner as possible. The project was to transform the RA school space for a new studio suite and workshops alongside a new library and kitchen facilities. The installation was to sympathise with the existing fabric of Grade II listed building yet introduce new technology and DDA-compliant entrance to the school. The team overcome many issues with rerouting cables and working out of hours so as not to impair the daily running of the main.

Harveys Charity Football Match

We would like to thank and congratulate everyone who took part in the Charity Football match which was helping to raise money for Lucia and her family.  The Lily Foundation is a charity very close to our hearts raising awareness of Mitochondrial Disease which Lucia suffers from. It is a life-threatening disease and extremely rare.

Collectively, we helped raise just over £18,000 which is an incredible achievement.

We would also like to thank our suppliers Edmundson Electrical, Grant & Stone, and Rexel for sponsoring the raffle that was held.
