Electric Vehicles
L Harvey and Son Ltd is a proud member of the Electric Vehicle Consumer Code for Home Charge points
EVCC is a Consumer Code which helps installers offer high standards of consumer protection to their consumers and empowers them by giving them the knowledge and confidence to opt for and install an EV charge point at their own property. Furthermore, if anything goes wrong, following the processes set out by EVCC should ensure any issues get resolved speedily and effectively.
EVCC recognises how important it is for home charge points to be specified, installed and maintained correctly, for consumers to contract an installer they can trust, and for the whole process to be derisked. And we do too! That is why we have joined EVCC and have chosen to comply with EVCC and its processes, to give you peace of mind.
As well as requiring compliance with all relevant legal provisions, EVCC works in conjunction with Institute of Engineering and Technology’s Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation and the Building Regulations including Wiring Regulations, the technical standards in the UK Contract with an EVCC installer, like us, and make sure you have taken the necessary steps to ensure you get the service you want.
