ELIS Dartford Commercial Laundry - L Harvey and Son

Hawkins Ltd awarded L Harvey and Son Ltd an M&E contract to supply and install the complete fit-out for this new super-sized laundry, starting from the empty units to the complete automated laundry system.

The challenge for the Project Managers and Electricians was to get the main structure of cabling around the building working at heights reaching up to 15 meters working off MEWPS. Large ventilation fans had to be lifted and fitted onto the roof with ducting down.

This project also had the added pressure of a 27-week programme to have all the various different machines in place and working, we used a lot of manpower to reach this target and it is commendable to our staff who worked and travelled long hours to achieve this.
